Previously the old railway station building, the Platform Gallery received a Lottery grant in 2001 and was converted into a contemporary art gallery. The exhibition I saw was predominantely sculptures by local artists. They were
conceptual pieces of work which displayed emotion. They were not detailed but showed incredible skill to create such smooth curves and lines.
