After Robin of Loxley escapes from prison he returns to England to end the tyrannous reign of Prince John and the Sheriff of Rottingham, regain his family's castle and marry Maid Marrion.
With his band of merry men, Achoo, Blinkin, Little John and Will Scarling he aims to stop the marriage of Maid Marrion and the Sheriff of Rottingham. Along with the villagers he succeeds and marries with the permission of King Richard.
A hilarious spoof of Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and Blazing Saddles, directed by Mel Brookes (who also stars as Rabbi Tuckman). This is my all time favourite film and I love the mix of modern comedy in with the digs at other Robin Hood films.
