My friend Isobel graduated this year from Textile Design and for her final exhibition she needed professional looking photographs of the skirt and hat

Our friend Anna said she would model and we borrowed an SLR from Uni (thank you Alan) to take the pictures. We went behind the design building to take the pictures in the green area behind Henry Price because of the natural light and fantastic trees.
I'm quite an amateur when it comes to photography but thought this would be a great way to practice. The weather (luckily) was fantastic and the area was quiet which was fantastic for the pictures and better for Anna who was quite nervous!
We took over 150 pictures of the day even though Isobel could only keep 4 for the final exhibition. I loved taking the pictures and suggesting poses but it was a collaborative effort with Isobel and our other friend Megan who was volunteer make up artist!
The pictures looked fantastic and Anna, who is a budding musician, asked me to take pictures for her music website. It was great to collaborate with other people on a project and be working for a "client" taking into consideration their needs from the shoot.
